QURAN AND SUNNAH

The Qur’an and Sunnah are the two important sacred text that Muslims value and use for assessing the ethical behavior to be embraced in the society. The Qur’an is supreme to all of the sacred trust. It is believed that Allah Almighty has sent it on His beloved messenger Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). And Sunnah are all the actions that Prophet (PBUH) perform in his life. The Muslims followed both of teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah and respect them.

IMPORTANCE OF QURAN

Qur’an is the holy book of the Muslims. It is believed that it’s Allah Almighty real words that He sent it on his beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) through His sacred angel Hazrat Jibril (A.S) in revelation. Hazrat Jibril (A. S) has delivered it on the heart of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It contains all the teachings to guide mankind in every field of life.it contain teachings such as life after death, believe on one Allah, believe in angels and Holy books, messengers, and last day. As Allah Almighty said in Qur’an Majeed:

                  “Indeed, you have a light and Enlighted book from Allah Almighty.”

Qur’an is a book that is complete from every aspect. It is just like a miracle. It contains all the teachings that help mankind on every step of life. Man can seek help from it in his every field of life. It covers all the aspects of life. It is a very big miracle of Qur’an that it contains guidance for generation after generation.

 It has teachings that can raise the moral value of people so high. Its language is so simple and clear that every man can understand it. It contains incident that has lessons as well as advice. On many points it is authenticated for previous books. It contains clear difference between right and wrong and all duties and rights that can highly raise the moral value of Muslims and help him to live a dignified life in a society. As Allah Almighty said that:

                     “Indeed, we have sent it and we are its protector.”

IMPORTANCE OF SUNNAH

Sunnah is another important sacred text of Muslims. As described before that Sunnah are all the actions that Holy prophet perform in his entire life. All the Muslims of the world follow the Sunnah of Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a sacred trust. Sunnah is the explanation of teachings of Qur’an. We follow the Sunnah of Holy prophet (PBUH) to raise our social and moral value.it includes how to treat people, our parents, our children and our elders.it teaches us how to behave in a society. As Prophet said:

“He is not from us that doesn’t respect our elder and beneficial to our children.”

Sunnah compliments the Qur’an which is the primary source of legislation among the Muslims that create order among the Muslims and define the ethical and unethical behaviors.Sunnah is the comprehensive teaching of Qur’an. It teaches the people wisdom and purifies 5them from corruptness. The most influential teachings of Qur’an are offering prayers five time a day, fasting in the month of Ramadan, pilgrimage and zakat. As on the occasion of last sermon he said

                “O’ people I have left two things between you that are Qur’an and Sunnah. Hold them firmly so that you will never get distracted.”

CONCLUSION

The Islamic morality is that to make people fair and just in their life dealings. Qur’an and Sunnah both are the complete code and guidance of life. The life of Prophet (PBUH) set a good example of the teaching of Qur’an. His life is correlated with the Qur’an. The Qur’an and Sunnah guide the Muslim’s faith life and ethics. They both are important because it describe the virtues and vices of life that are in the life. All the Muslims of the world strictly follow the teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah despite of living in different parts of the world. That bring Muslim nation united on a single platform at one point. Any person who violates the law of Qur’an and Sunnah has strictly punished not in this world but also the world after here. As Holy Prophet (PBUH) said

             “He who loved Sunnah loved me, and who loved me will be with me in paradise.”
