Bab al-Jihad (The Gate of Striving) refers to the specific gate in Paradise that will be entered by those who struggled in the path of Allah (SWT) with their lives, their wealth, and their words. In various Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) described that Paradise has eight gates, each designated for specific acts of worship or categories of believers. The gate of jihad honors those who exerted themselves for the cause of truth and justice. This concept represents the peak of Islamic eschatological Itqan (perfection) and the Nur (light) of a faith that honors those who sacrifice for the sake of Allah.
