Iram

Iram (Iram of the Pillars) is a legendary city mentioned in the Quran (Surah Al-Fajr 89:6-8) as a great civilization that was destroyed for its arrogance and transgression. Described as having "lofty pillars, the like of which had never been built in the land," Iram was the city of the people of 'Ad, to whom the Prophet Hud (AS) was sent.
