The Slough Islamic Trust provides accurate daily prayer (Salah) and Jama'ah timings for the Muslim community in Slough and surrounding areas, including Diamond Road Mosque and Montem Lane Mosque. Maintaining regular prayer is a pillar of faith, and our mosques serve as a central hub for worship, reflection, and community gathering.
Prayer timings in the UK fluctuate significantly throughout the year due to our northern latitude. We provide updates based on astronomical calculations local to Berkshire.
Starting at the break of dawn (Subh Sadiq). During Ramadan, this marks the beginning of the fast.
Dhuhr is observed after the sun passes its zenith. Asr is calculated according to the Hanafi school for our congregations.
Maghrib marks sunset and the time for Iftar. Isha is the night prayer, followed by Tarawih in the holy month.
Friday is the most blessed day of the week. The Slough Islamic Trust hosts weekly Jumu’ah Khutbah (sermons) and prayers, providing an opportunity for the local Ummah to listen to spiritual reminders and strengthen communal bonds.
Every year, our mosques facilitate a full spiritual program for Ramadan, including Iftar gatherings and Itikaf. Timings for Suhoor (Sehar) and Iftar are updated automatically to ensure the community can observe their fasts with ease. We also announce sightings for Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha based on established moon-sighting criteria.
