Yusuf

Prophet Yusuf (Joseph, peace be upon him) is one of the most beloved prophets in Islam, known for his exceptional beauty, remarkable patience, and ability to interpret dreams. His complete story is told in Surah Yusuf, the 12th chapter of the Quran, which Allah describes as "the best of stories" (12:3). Yusuf's journey-from being thrown into a well by jealous brothers, to slavery in Egypt, to false imprisonment, and finally to becoming Egypt's treasurer-illustrates how Allah's plan unfolds through apparent adversity. His unwavering faith and moral integrity shine through his rejection of temptation: "Indeed, he who fears Allah and is patient, then indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good" (12:90). Yusuf's ability to interpret dreams, granted by Allah, eventually led to his rise to power and his reunion with his family. The story culminates in his forgiveness of his brothers: "No blame will there be upon you today. Allah will forgive you; and He is the most merciful of the merciful" (12:92).
