Istaqama

Istaqama (To be upright or steadfast) is a Quranic term derived from the root q-w-m, meaning to stand firm, to be upright, or to adhere straight to the path. The Quran commands: "So remain steadfast (fastaqim) as you have been commanded" (Surah Hud 11:112).
