Sadaqah Jariyah (Continuous Charity) refers to the act of giving that continues to benefit humanity and generate reward for the giver even after their death. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that among the deeds that continue to benefit a believer after death are ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge left behind, and a righteous child who prays for them. Representing the peak of Islamic philanthropic Itqan (perfection) and the Nur (light) of a faith that values long-term social investment, Sadaqah Jariyah includes acts such as building a well, establishing a school, planting a tree, or endowing a hospital.
