Wilayah

Wilayah refers to the profound and multi-faceted concept of authority, guardianship, and closeness that defines the relationships within the Islamic social and spiritual order. In its primary theological sense, Wilayah denotes the special "friendship" or "proximity" (Wali) that the righteous servants have with Allah (SWT), representing the peak of spiritual achievement and the Nur (light) of a life dedicated to Ubudiyyah (servitude). In the political and social sense, it refers to the legitimate leadership and guardianship (Wilayat al-Amr) of the Ummah, which is based on the principles of Adl (justice), Amanah (trust), and Shura (consultation).
