Dua al-Entering Home

دعاء دخول المنزل
Text Size:
Du'a for Entering the Home is a Sunnah practice that brings Barakah (blessing) and protection to a person’s residence. The Prophet (PBUH) taught that when a person mentions the name of Allah upon entering their house and before eating, Shaytan says to his followers, "You have no place to stay and no dinner tonight." The recommended supplication acknowledges Allah as the source of our departures and arrivals and expresses trust in Him. This simple act of remembrance transforms a routine action into a spiritual exercise, ensuring that the home remains a sanctuary of peace, safety, and God-consciousness for the entire family.
