Dua al-Qunut refers to the historic and highly significant supplication offered during the standing position of the Witr prayer (following Isha) or during times of crisis (Qunoot al-Nazila). Representing the peak of spiritual humility (Khushu) and the Nur (light) of a life dedicated to the intimate conversation with the Creator (Salah), this Dua is a plea for guidance, protection, and Divine mercy. It is a definitive Hujjah (proof) of the believer’s absolute submission and their unshakeable hope in Divine intervention, providing a state of Sakina (tranquility) and a primary Wasilah (means) for attaining "Basirah" (spiritual insight) and spiritual success for the Ummah for the pleasure of their Lord.
