The Good Tree

الشجرة الطيبة
Text Size:
Al-Aziz is one of the 99 Names of Allah, meaning "The Almighty," "The All-Conquering," or "The Invincible." It signifies that Allah possesses all "Izzah" (power and honor) and that nothing can overcome His "Hukm" (ruling). In the Quran, this name is often paired with "Al-Hakim" (The Wise), showing that Allah’s power is always exercised with perfect wisdom. For the "Mu'min" (believer), knowing Allah as Al-Aziz provides "Quwwah" (strength) and "Izzah" in their own identity. It teaches that true honor comes only from "Ta'ah" (obedience) to the Almighty, while seeking honor elsewhere leads to humiliation and "Dhull" (lowliness).
