Musa (Moses) is the most frequently mentioned Prophet in the Quran. He was sent to liberate the Israelites from the tyranny of Pharaoh. Known as "Kalimullah" (The one to whom Allah spoke), he was given the Torah and many miracles (like the staff and the splitting of the sea). His life story provides the blueprint for the struggle against oppression and the challenges of leading a community toward the truth. He is a model of courage and humility.
