Salat al-Khawf

صلاة الخوف
Text Size:
Abadiyah-Life refers to the "Eternal Life" of the soul after the "Mawt" (death) of the physical body. Islam teaches that death is not an end, but a "Jisr" (bridge) to the true, "Abadi" life. This life begins in the "Barzakh," continues through the "Ba'th" (resurrection), and culminates in the final judgment. The nature of one’s Abadiyah-Life-whether it is one of "Na'im" (bliss) or "Adhab" (punishment)-is determined by the "Iman" and "Taqwa" cultivated during the short "Imtihan" (test) of the worldly life. This perspective gives profound meaning to every breath, making the pursuit of "Marifa" (knowledge of God) the most vital task of existence.
