Unqualified Leaders

Unqualified Leaders (Tawsiyat al-Amr li-ghayr ahlihi) refers to one of the signs of the end times mentioned in prophetic Hadith, where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) described that the Hour will not come until authority is given to those who are not qualified for it. When asked how this happens, he said: "When authority is given to those who are not qualified for it, then wait for the Hour." This concept represents the peak of Islamic eschatological Itqan (perfection) and the Nur (light) of a faith that warns against the corruption of leadership and the erosion of accountability. It serves as a definitive Hujjah (proof) of the importance of qualified leadership and the protection of institutions, providing the Ummah with the Sakina (tranquility) and the guidance needed to maintain integrity in governance for the pleasure of their Lord.
Theologically, the concept of unqualified leaders is a manifestation of the principle of Justice (Adl) and the Hikmah (wisdom) of Divine law in the organization of authority.
