Shi’at al-Dajjal (The Partisans of the Dajjal) refers to the followers and partisans of the False Messiah (Al-Masih ad-Dajjal) who will emerge during the end times. According to prophetic Hadith, the Dajjal will attract a vast number of followers, including those who are spiritually weak, the hypocrites (Munafiqun), and various groups seeking worldly power or deceived by his material wonders. This concept represents the peak of communal Fitna (trial) and a definitive warning to the Ummah regarding the dangers of spiritual heedlessness and the lack of internal Nur (light). The emergence of the Shi’at al-Dajjal is a primary eschatological sign, reflecting the Mizan (balance) of a faith that tests the sincerity of every soul before the final restoration of justice by Isa (AS).

Theologically, the narrative of the Dajjal’s followers is a manifestation of the principle of Divine Trial (Ikhtibar) and the necessity of Tazkiyah (purification). It reflects the Hikmah (wisdom) of a tradition that emphasizes that material prosperity and deceptive signs are not indicators of truth. The followers are often described as being blinded by their desires for the Dunya (world), which prevents them from attaining the Basirah (spiritual insight) needed to see the "Kafir" written on the Dajjal’s forehead. This history serves as a Burhan (proof) that knowledge (Ilm) without piety (Taqwa) is insufficient to protect the believer from the ultimate deception. It emphasizes the absolute Amanah (trust) of the prophetic warnings as the primary tool for the survival of the faith. Historically, this concept has encouraged the Ummah to value social cohesion based on the Truth rather than following any charismatic leader who lacks moral foundation.

For the Ummah, the knowledge of Shi’at al-Dajjal is a source of caution and a roadmap for contemporary communal unity. It teaches the believers the value of spiritual vigilance, critical thinking, and the importance of supporting one another on the Sirat al-Mustaqim (the Straight Path). In a modern world characterized by mass manipulation and the rise of destructive ideologies, the warnings against following the Dajjal provide a roadmap for the defense of human dignity and religious integrity. It encourages a culture of Ihsan (excellence) and communal responsibility. By honoring the prophetic traditions, the Muslim community strengthens its identity and its commitment to the values of the Quran. It promotes a life of purpose and shared spiritual prosperity, ensuring that the light of truth continues to guide the hearts of the faithful against the darkness of deception for the pleasure of their Lord.
