Ibn Khaldun (1332–1406 CE) was a historic and world-renowned Muslim historian, sociologist, and philosopher who represents the peak of intellectual Itqan (perfection) and analytical Izzah (honor) in the Islamic tradition. Born in Tunis, he is most famous for his monumental work, the "Muqaddimah" (Introduction), which established the foundational principles of sociology, historiography, and economics. Ibn Khaldun’s legacy represents the Nur (light) and the intellectual vigor of a civilization that sought to understand the "Asabiyyah" (social cohesion) and the natural laws (Sunan) of human society.
