Yawm Al-Haqq

يوم الحق
Text Size:
Yawm al-Haqq (the Day of Truth) emphasizes that all truth will be fully manifested and recognized. The Quran declares: "Allah will pay them in full their rightful due, and they will know that Allah is the evident Truth" (24:25). Truth, reality, and what is due converge on this day. While truth may be obscured in this world, Yawm al-Haqq removes all veils, revealing everything exactly as it is.

Every soul will recognize the truth about Allah and their own deeds. "And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed" (39:69). No one can deny their actions as their own limbs testify. Yawm al-Haqq also means the Day of Just Due,when every soul receives exactly what it earned with perfect justice. It vindicates faith for believers and exposes falsehood for others.

Allah swears by the Day of Truth: "Indeed, it is a decisive word" (86:13). The truth about Allah will be manifest, and no one will doubt His oneness. The polytheists will recognize their error too late. The secrets of hearts will be laid bare: "That Day, the secrets will be exposed" (86:9). No hypocrisy remains. Every person will be informed of what they sent forward.

For believers, it is a day of vindication, their sacrifices will be recognized. They will see that what they hoped for was real. For the heedless, it is a day of painful recognition. Yawm al-Haqq is when all doubts are resolved. The believer lives in truth now, truthful speech, actions, and intentions. They know that truth will set some free to enter the eternal truth of Paradise.
